status is the developer API’s own readiness (sandbox: sandbox audience only; limited: otherwise). platform is the public status projection behind status.africaone.io, sanitised to the overall state and component codes, or null when it is not integrated or temporarily unavailable (an outage of the status source never fails this endpoint).
